"Social media" is giving a bad image to the "internet"

Oh wow, once again, the problem is "social media".
Yet another article about it.
Anyway this one is about the many things "social media services" have done to DAMAGE the reputation of the "internet".

A new bill passed in the UK.
"Online Safety Act".
From that name you can tell it's not about safety.

By the way VNSF does NOT comply with UK's Online Safety.
The reason why...
I won't be asking for your ID in order to read VNSF.
Yes, the "Online Safety Act" is privacy UNsafe.

There's also a bunch of other censorship going on "social media" platforms to "protect".
Such as YouTube, who has an ML tool to detect if a user is a teen or adult (how exactly?).
This is horrible.

Get a VPN.
Use a self hosted service.
Join the fediverse.

Free the internet.
