A GNU http client?
------------------

GNU has many libraries and tools, most of which are very useful.
Though there seems to be one missing.
A HTTP client library.

GNU already has a tool to download, Wget.
But it doesn't have a library to download yet.

I would use cURL, but there are some issues with it.
Wget2 has a library for downloading, but it isn't an official GNU project.

It would be nice if such a thing existed.
