Fediverse: Run your own instance!

I just started my own PeerTube instance at https://vid.nsf-home.ip-dynamic.org
Why didn't I use some one else's instance?
Well, I prefer self hosting, and you are allowed to, it's the Fediverse.
Feedback to Framasoft: Too hard to install in Docker.

Maybe I will set up Mastodon, but I'm not interested in micro-blogging services.
It ruins the point of blogging.
But that's a story for another time.

I was never interested in the idea of Pixelfed.
It's for people who don't really care about privacy.
Why would you post about your daily life?

Loops was a really good idea.
Federating short-form content, which is a trend in the media!
The problem is, it's still in beta, so there's no official way to run your own server.
Not really federated...
Just use Pixelfed/PeerTube if you seriously want to make short-form content.

If the Fediverse is the future, we must build it.
