BlueSky is not a good service

So, people are abandoning X.com for...
NOT MASTODON!!!!

I don't get how instead of using bad platform owned by one guy, they go to bad platform owned by another guy.
It didn't get better.
Where is Mastodon in all this?
Still has a bad reputation.

People are all using BlueSky like it's the new standard, yet it's proprietary and Mastodon still works better!!!
Even when people don't want to use said service, they will REFUSE to use the libre version.

It's so random and I can't explain why people do this.

Also, on the note of Mastodon, I tried running my own instance, and I have a feeling they made it HARDER for people to run the software.
I use a relatively weak server, and it just can't run Mastodon.
I don't want to buy a new server just for that.
May create a new platform (will be federated).
